| X-Men [GER] (1994) Search for 'X-Men [GER]' on eBay Publisher: Marvel Comics UK (Marvel) Publication Date: April 1994 - May 1995 Country: Germany Language: German Title Continuity: X-Men [GER] (1994) #14 continues to X-Men (1997) #1 Notes: When the Saban animated series finally went on air in Germany Marvel UK took the opportunity to branch out on the German market and launched this series. This magazine series features reprints of X-Men Adventures and X-Men. As the series went on the "Adventures" part was further and furthermore decreased, making way for more of Jim Lee's series. The crossover with Ghost Rider was reprinted as well but heavily edited due to length. The series was abrupty ended without warning (because Marvel UK ceased operations), they even announced the start of the X-Cutioner's Song storyline for the next issue. The translations were done by German-speaking Britains (or at least ones who THOUGHT they would speak it) resulting in sometimes very colorful translations. Number of issues cataloged: 15  |
