Brother Power the Geek   (1968)

Publisher: DC Comics

Publication Date: Sep/Oct 1968 - Nov/Dec 1968

Country: United States

Language: English

Notes:
Only two issues of this title were published. The world was not quite ready for this Joe Simon creation. It may never be. Simon was not, in fact, the artist on the book's two issues. The artwork was not by Simon, but by Al Bare, who had been working with Simon at Sick. Bare had been hired by Simon to "ghost" the art, and Simon was credited in the book which was the standard of the day. The series' cancellation was an appeasement of Mort Weisinger, who felt that the series encouraged young people to be hippies, although its sales were strong enough to justify an ongoing series.
