| Starstruck (1985) Search for 'Starstruck' on eBay Publisher: Epic Comics (Marvel) Publication Date: February 1985 - February 1986 Country: United States Language: English Notes: 6-issue limited series. Starstruck was originally conceived as a stage play, written by Elaine Lee with set and costume design by Michael Wm Kaluta. The property debuted in comics as a series of shorts in Heavy Metal magazine that function as a prequel to the play. These were later collected as Marvel Graphic Novel (1982) - #13. The Epic series was planned as an ongoing, but ended at issue six. In 1990, Dark Horse undertook a project to reprint all the existing Starstruck material with 300+ pages of new material in a b&w twelve issue series. Only 4 issues made it to print.
