Copper   (2002)
Search for 'Copper' on eBay

Publisher: Bolt City

Publication Date: April 2002 - April 2009

Country: United States

Language: English

Awards:
  • 2005 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards - Nominee - Best Digital Comic: (by Kazu)
  • 2006 Will Eisner Comic Industry Awards - Nominee - Best Digital Comic: (by Kazu)

Notes:
The strip is multi-panel one pager which features the adventures of a guy named Copper and his talking dog, Fred. Each month, they're placed in vastly different settings, which often are representative of the mood or thematic note of that particular strip, and they confront a particular human obstacle. Typically, that obstacle is the never-ending search for love, towards which both characters seem somewhat oblivious. The strip shares some commonality with Wallace & Grommit, but is largely a unique spin on the master and dog relationship. It has basically had a monthly publication schedule, but there have been a few instances where the artist has put the strip on hiatus to do other projects.

A link is provided in the synopsis field of each issue so that you can enjoy it in its entirety.
