A decent murder Mystery. - Thai
a decent muder mystery written by loeb and drawn by Tim Sale.
The story involves around Batman trying to solve a series of murders on seasonal holidays.
The plot is very story driven and there are numerous twist & turns in the plot and while I did see a twist ending coming it wasn't what I invisioned.
The only problem with the plot where the middle issues which were too me nothing but fillers which not much happening but issue numbers increasing.
The way Soloman Grundy was used was also questionable.
Not giving too much away but Batman basically takes out Solomon Grundy by falling on his head with a iron grid!
This is a guy who has been toe to toe with Superman & he gets knocked out by an iron grid, there really does need to be some sort of line that writers need to follow regarding Grundy's power levels as it really is all over the place and seems although it changes according to where the writer wants to take the story.
The art isn't too my taste's and I absolutly hate the way Tim Sale draws the Joker.
I can imagine some people liking the art though so each to there own.
On the whole though a great Batman Story which most should enjoy and if your a Batman fan in any shape of form then this is petty much a Must have.
