10 out of 10 - salloria
Upon arriving in Japan, Wolverine discovers that his love, Mariko Yashida, has been married off by her crimelord father, Lord Shingen. Distraught, he finds solace in the arms of Yukio, a skilled assassin who also happens to be working for Shingen. Tired of the double-crossing games, Wolverine gets focused and takes the fight to Shingen and his underworld empire, but at what cost?

Creators Chris Claremont and Frank Miller take us on a journey that solidifies Wolverine's character while exposing the constant battle he fights within himself to control the inner-beast that longs to shed blood. What follows is an engrossing tale of love, honor, deceit and corruption, fully wrapped in stunning visuals as the suspense builds toward the climatic conclusion.

A true masterpiece, this collection is a must-have for any comic aficionado.
