Just Passible - Thai
This the last part of the War Games arc and the third trade in the series and to be honest there isn't much of a reason for this trade, there are a few dramatic moments but no real revelations.
You could of really added a couple of issues to the last trade and it would of had about the same substance, having said that there nothing that offends here although there are inconsistancies in the art.
For instance on the last page of chapter 2 Bat-Man is cut, bleeding and his costume is ripped yet on the next page his as fresh as a dandy without a scratch on him. It doesn't effect the story but it's an annoying distraction.

The Black Mask is portrayed as very sadistic and while his got a long way to go before he reaches the standards of the Joker some of his actions are quite sinister and while he's certainly no match for Bat-Man physically this alone may make him a match for Bat-Man as he will be willing to kill and maim in order to expose Bat-Man's weaknesses (After all it's helped Joker be a major player for all these years) and I'm interested to see where there rivalry will lead.

It's been quite hard to review this trade as it's about as middle of the road as you can get, it's doesn't offend or excite and to be honest the only reason I'm attempting this review is due to the fact that I have reviewed part's 1 & 2 of this arc.
If you've read the other trades you will want to read this but this is only an acceptable but slightly shallow conclusion to an only just passible arc.
