Guess what! Daredevil: End of Days #7 is freaking amazing! Surprised? You shouldn't be. Shame on you. - coltens14
I'm running out of things to say about this series. Brilliant, amazing, beautiful, gorgeous? Sure, it's all those things, plus the Punisher machine gunning hundreds of ninjas to death. Daredevil: End of Days is a masterpiece; a comic series of epic proportions and the kind of thing that all comic fans need to read. We are close to the end now, and things are revealed in this issue that I won't spoil here, but it's hard to see how this turns out well for anybody. Also --side note -- but can we get a Brian Bendis/Klaus Janson Punisher series, because holy crap, it's awesome.
Janson is one of the artists that I will forever associate with Daredevil, largely because of his epic run with Frank Miller. It's fitting, then, that he is the one bringing the character's story to a close. As previously stated, the adjective pool is running dry when it comes to describing this book. It's so damn good looking I just want to put it in a pie, bake it, and then eat it, in hopes of absorbing the wonder and splendor contained on these pages.
The story beats are magical, too, thanks to the glimmer twins known as Brian “Magic Foot” Bendis and David “Big Mac” Mack. The layered tale these guys have woven is a true work of brilliance. It's hard to accept that there is only one more issue of this series, but hot damn I can't wait to see how things turn out. We still don't even know what “Mapone” means! You double ship all your other books, Marvel! Give All-New X-Men a week off and get us the last issue of Daredevil: End of Days pronto!
