Glacial pacing is killing this series! - james meeley
This storyline about "The Others" has really dragged down this book's stature. The pace is so slow and plodding, with very little happening, that even when they try to make some shocking reveal it just falls flat. On top of that, we haven't learned much about these new characters, so we don't care about them when things happen to them. There's almost nothing in the way of excitement or characterization going on here. There is no reason for the story to be this padded out, unless they are only thinking about the trade collection, which is one of the things that is ruining serialized comics. I'm very disappoined in writer Geoff Johns. He's better than this. At least the art by Ivan Reis is still pretty to look at.
