Yep.. a change sometimes isn't a good thing... - rodsorrell
This issue is obviously the kick off point for the new creative team and I was eager to see what they had to offer. I think I can see now why I didn't collect much further from here onward. The comic is not bad at all... in fact it was probably needed to do something different... BUT, the comic also feels completely different! Conner, Palmiotti and co bring some special which I didn't feel in this one.

What A Difference An Artist Makes! - BelgiumMan42
Unlucky number thirteen rears it's ugly head, and may well be the end of this title. Amanda Conner, who penciled and inked the previous twelve issues is gone, replaced by Sami Basri. Conner's artistic style DEFINED this title and made it surprisingly popular, but now sales are going to drop into the abyss. The new writer, Judd Winick, clearly intends to take this title in a new (and unwanted) direction by making it more "serious". Between this radical change in plot style, and the new artistic "vision" of Power Girl (Blech!), I'd say this title is done for in less than 6 months. Alas, poor Power Girl, I knew ye well...
