Notes:
Grupo Abril is both a parent company and the public face of the largest comics publisher in Brazilian market. As a conglomerate, Abril is a simply massive force in the Brazilian market, somewhat akin to the dominance Time+Warner has in the U.S. Most comic work is published under the Abril logo. Among their thousands of titles, they are perhaps most well-known for being the holder of the DIsney license in Brazil, something they have exercised to both reprint translated works from other countries and to create completely new, Brazil-specific story lines.
