Synopsis
|
In the wake of Operation: Zero Tolerance, SHIELD has Bastion locked up in one of their research facilities. When Bastion escapes and SHIELD soliers can't do the job, new SHIELD head G. W. Bridge calls in Cable to help capture Bastion. When Cable heads to the Prospero Clinic to investigate, he encounters Machine Man who has seemingly been reprogrammed as a killer. Bastion arrives as Cable and Machine Man fight. Bastion communes with the Master Mold located at the Prospero Clinic. Machine Man is struck down by a blast of energy and Cable looks up to see Bastion transformed, taking the form of Nimrod, the super-sentinel from the future.
