This issue carries a full-page house ad for THE ORIGINS OF MARVEL COMICS and the 1975 Mighty Marvel calendar, billed as "a collector's item that'll still be valuable in the year 2,001! [sic]" And they were right!

This issue also contains a full-page ad headlined "Guess who's coming to Christmas Dinner? Merry Marvel, that's who!" promoting the GIANT SUPERHERO HOLIDAY GRAB-BAG, the "first annual collection of Christmas classics and colorful combats!"
