2007-08-15 22:31:05 tomkaters Synopsis Opens in the city of Rottberg in the tiny country of Offalia (a tiny Mediterranean country). Generalissimo Demmy Gog (wait, i think I know where this is going) is kicked out of the Royal Palace for purposing an invasion of America. He gathers a rag tag group of Soldiers to lead Jump to Justice League Headquarters. Since they lack a pressing case the Justice League decides to look in their mail. (Ah the pre-cell phone & email days!)Snapper has a letter from a Prof Aiken who needs the JLA's help in finding a machine of his that was stolen. WonderWoman, Green Lantern & Superman think it is too small time but Green Arrow chastises them. No injustice is to small for the JLA according to Green Arrow. He storms off with Batman, The Atom and Snapper coming along to insist. On the way to the university, Batman reveals that he knows that Snapper wrote the letter. Snapper says it was because the Professor needs help but wouldn't ask for it. They arrive at Happy Harbor college to find the university going crazy because the football team pulled an upset of Ivy University. The JlAers run into the football team, and the football picks a fight with them! The JLA struggles to beat the football team without hurting them. Eventually they pull it off. They walk into a building to see the students and Prof Aiken freaking out. Aiken is up on a ledge threatening to jump, Green Arrow stops him with a well timed arrow. Aiken reveals he was working on a machine that can measure and affect the morale of people. He took it to a conference in Offalia where it was stolen (look he didn't forget about the beginning). The JLA goes in search of whoever is using the machine to drive the campus insane. Demmy Gog captures them in a local tower and reveals he is going to use the machine to drive the USA's morale to zero and take over the country. Cut back to JLA headquarters, where Wondy, Lantern, and Supes are cleaning! They suddenly stop due to a lack of motivation, sensing something odd they go to the University to find the other JLAers. Lacking motivation to use their powers, they are forced to hitchhike. They alos are captured by Demmy Gog. The Atom finds that while he can't motivate himself to save himself he can get motivated to save his friends. Atom steals the controls and gives the JLA back their morale. The JLA kicks ass and takes names. Demmy Gog turns the machine on himself and boosts his morale, unfortunately it isn't enough to allow him to beat Superman. Lesson learned....teamwork will save the day.
