2015-10-08 15:55:50 robotgetsbored Synopsis Part 1 of Superman: Arkham. Superman, dressed all in black, finds himself locked away in Arkham Asylum, presided over by warden Solomon Grundy, having been charged with ... murder! Knowing this is all wrong, he breaks out, and soon finds Bizarro, this world's hero, hot on his heels in pursuit. FULL PLOT: SPOILERS Superman, dressed in an all black version of his costume, hangs suspended upside down in an Arkham Asylum cell, bound by chains. Struggling, he breaks free, and while yelling a warning to his captors to not bring him back, he breaks the wall of his cell and leaps over the perimeter wall. Calendar Man, an officer of Arkham Asylum, alerts warden Grundy, who has no choice but to phone in the one man that can bring Superman back: Bizarro. From his JLA headquarters on the moon, Bizarro rushes down to Earth. Meanwhile, Superman finds a wanted poster for himself, claiming he's a murderer. He knows he's alleged to have killed someone named "Lex Luthor" (a name no one recognizes), but at the back of his mind he remembers that Superman ... does not kill. As he rushes off in angered confusion, Mr. Mxyzptlk appears and calls out to him, wanting to speak with him. Suddenly, a train magically appears out of nowhere and crushes Mr. Mxyzptlk. Unaware of this, Superman continues to run away from Arkham, but Bizarro catches up with him. Their fight ultimately sends Superman crashing through the window of a near by office building, landing him right at the feet of Lois Lane - head of Lane Corp. Superman begs her for help, knowing she's made weapons to defeat Bizarro, but Lois sees no reason why she should help a wanted criminal, until Superman says her name ... something about that shakes her, but only for a moment. She snaps out of it, and sends her guard dogs after Superman until Bizarro comes and takes him away, leaving Lois to ponder why Superman made his way to her office in the first place ... Below, Graveyard Lad (an alternate version of Jimmy Olsen) cheers on Bizzaro as he tends to Bizarro's Graveyard of Solitude, surrounded by headstones bearing the names of fallen heroes, like Nightwing and Robin. Superman struggles against Bizarro, and their fight takes them to a pier. Superman tries to reason with Bizarro, knowing something is wrong with the world, but Bizarro won't listen. As Bizarro attempts to drown Superman, a twisted version of Aquaman (fish head and body) intervenes, but Bizarro freezes him, and carries an unconscious Superman back to Arkham. As the night ends, an intense scream of pain can be heard. Officer Day shudders, but warden Grundy tells him they are safe in Arkham, but even Graveyard Lad expresses concern to Bizarro. Soon Superman adds his own cries to the constant wailing, claiming he will be free someday. Someday. Part 1 of Superman: Arkham. Plot (Spoilers): For reasons unknown, the world has been remade, and Superman is being held in Arkham Asylum, presided over by warden Solomon Grundy. Superman breaks out but Bizarro, this world's hero, is called in to apprehend him. Superman finds a wanted poster for himself, stating he's a murderer. He knows he's been charged with killing Lex Luthor, but no one knows who that is, and Superman knows he's not a killer. Mr. Mxyzptlk appears and tries to talk to Superman, but a train magically appears and crushes him before he can get Superman's attention. Instinctively, Superman makes his way to see Lois Lane, who in this world is head of Lane Corp. Bizarro catches up with him and Superman is flung in to Lois' office through the window. Superman begs for help, and for a moment Lois suddenly feels something for Superman, before snapping out of it and ordering her guard dogs to attack. Bizarro takes Superman away, and their fight is seen by Graveyard Lad - Bizarro's number 1 fan, and an alternate version of Jimmy Olsen. Their fight takes them to a pier where they are interrupted by a twisted version of Aquaman (fish head and body). Bizarro freezes him, then takes a defeated Superman back to Arkham. At the end of the night, like every night, a wailing cry of pain from an unknown person can be heard.
