Synopsis
|
|
Pym is in Egghead's lab, helping him with his cellular regeneration project. Egghead mocks Pym even as he's working for him. Meanwhile, Jennifer is very distraught over not being She-Hulk anymore. Scott Lang drops of a special helmet at Avengers Mansion, which Tony Stark has built. No one has seen Iron Man or Stark recently. The Avengers have a defeatist attitude towards helping Pym until Captain Marvel snaps them out of it with a pep talk. She convinces them that perhaps Pym has been telling the truth about being framed by Egghead, and that Egghead may still be alive. Meanwhile, Hawkeye helps Jennifer become She-Hulk again be getting her mad enough to transform back. The Avenger take Stark's helmet to prison to put it on the Shocker, who had been captured in the battle at the courthouse, and had been brainwashed by Egghead into thinking that Hank Pym was behind everything. As soon as he puts on the helmets, he remembers everything, and tells the Avengers that Egghead is behind everything. He is able to give them the location of Egghead's hideout. At Egghead's hideout, Pym announces that his machine is ready. Egghead, not trusting Pym, makes Pym try the machine himself. Once strapped into the machine, Pym is able to generate a force field and attach the Masters of Evil. The Master of Evil attack Pym, but he defeats them easily. The Avenger arrive as the battle is nearly over. Hawkeye is the first one to arrive, and he witnesses Pym confronting Egghead. Pym punches Egghead and starts to walk away. Egghead pulls a high tech gun out and plans to shoot Pym in the back. Just as he pulls the trigger, Hawkeye fires and arrow into the gun. The backlash of the ray kills Egghead.
