In light of the regrouping former Legionnaires, the history of the Legion of Super-Heroes is retold. When a young, amnesiac Durlan RJ Brande falls in with the seedy side of Durla, he comes to Earth disguised as a wealthy man, who is also a 20th Century afficionado. When he is the victim of an assassination attempt at the hands of a former employee, he is saved by a trio of teenagers. Inspired by the 20th Century hero Valor, RJ Brande forms the Legion of Super-Heroes!
This is the official origin issue of the Legion of Super-Heroes according to the history in Glorith's new timeline. Superboy has been removed as the inspiration, replaced by Valor, a 20th Century version of Lar Gand, aka Mon-El.
Also includes two faux prose articles, "When You Wish Upon a Star" and "Highest Security Clearance. High Commander's Eyes Only."
