Synopsis:
Steve Rogers surrendered himself to the government at the climax of Civil War #7. On the way to being arreigned he takes a sniper's bullet in the shoulder. While laying on the court house steps someone shoots him three times in the chest and stomach at point blank range. Can Captain America survive? Who has performed this nefarious deed, and what is the Red Skulls involvement? While the Winter Soldier and the Falcon pursue the sniper, Agent 13 rushes to the hospital and discovers the shocking truth to the assassins identity!
