While on her first real battle ans Spider-Girl, May runs across a villain known as Crazy Eight. A maniacal mad mand who uses diabolical billiard balls as his weapon of choice. Having no other option but to run away, she is confronted by the mysterious Darkdevil; he warns her to get out of the superhero business. Meanwhile, Peter and MJ's nights are filled with terror as they wonder about the saftey of their daughter. At school things are heating up between her friends Moose and Jimmy Yama, as a fight between them escalates. That night Spider-Girl confronts Crazy Eight again this time defeating him.
