Story Arc(s):    Add/remove story arcs to this issue

The X-Men return home concerned with the injured Professor X and worried about what to do next. Meanwhile, the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants plan their next caper from their new home, Asteroid M. Using the Toad as bait the Brotherhood captures Angel, but abandons Toad. Using Toad's fanatical devotion to Magneto, the rest of the team is able to gain access to Asteroid M. A lengthy battle ensues during which the X-Men defeat the Brotherhood, destroying their orbiting headquarters in the process. Once home, the X-Men find that the Professor feigned injury to force the X-Men to have to deal with the Brotherhood on their own as a test of their abilities.
