Synopsis:
This standalone story introduces writer Robert Kirkman's Image Comics creation, Invincible, to the Marvel universe to help Spider-Man tackle the menacing Doctor Octopus. Along the way, Invincible criticizes Peter Parker's choice of superhero identity and meets up with the New Avengers. This is a perfect introduction to and backstory of an orignal Kirkman creation for those looking to find more of his work.
