Synopsis:
Striking out in anger, the power of the Silver Surfer draws the attention of Mephisto, the lord of the Stygian Sphere. Seeing the threat that the Surfer poses to his domination of Earth, Mephisto uses Shalla Bal as a ploy to get the Surfer to sell his soul. Unfazed by Mephisto's offers, the Surfer resists and chooses to keep his soul rather than be permanently reunited with Shalla Bal.
