First appearance of Superboy I. Problematic for Siegel and Shuster, who hated the concept of a Superboy. Nevertheless, the court battle started in 1947 over this issue and the Superboy comic that would come from it, finally awarded their first and only real royalties off of some part of the Superman mythos.
