Synopsis:
Commander Adama sends Apollo, Starbuck and Boomer to Maytoria to recover ancient information about earth. The three head off in Vipers equipped with new stealth technology but soon they are detected by Cylons and Starbuck and Boomer are shot down leavening Apollo to return to Galactica assuming his friends are dead.
Notes:
The first issue will be issued with two covers in a 50:50 ratio—one from Dorman, one from Caldwell (with Banning and White). We've arbitrarily decided to demonstrate Dorman's painted cover as the principle design, and Caldwell's as the "variant"—though it could just as easily be thought of as the other way around.20 September 2006 was the estimated ship date as of July 2006. The issue doesn't, in fact, have a cover date.
This story takes place before the episode “Lost Planet of the Gods, Part I”.
