The Imperials have been made aware of Mian's location and are well on their way towards hunting her down with a larger force than before. Mian, on the other hand, is in the process of training her new "pets" to be good little servants and handing out the appropriate punishments. But when Babo discovers that there's a six-million D.D. reward for Mian's capture, can he resist the urge to become an instant millionaire by ratting her out to the Helgebard forces?
There's a minor continuity problem that crops up in this issue from Commander Bardum's discussion of who leads the Helgebard Empire. At one point, he proclaims, "We must do nothing to alarm the Emperor without cause!" A few issues later, however, we learn that Helgebard is led not by an Emperor, but an Empress. Since the Japanese words for "emperor" and "empress" are very distinct, it is unlikely this is a translation error made by Studio Proteus and is simply the way Manabe had written it before he decided Helgebard was being run by a woman instead of a man.
