The short story, "Leaders and Lovers," from Legion of Super-Heroes (1980) #291 was originally illustrated by Howard Bender and Rodin Rodriguez with lettering by Janice Chiang. It has been redrawn by Keith Giffen and Larry Mahlstedt, and relettered by John Costanza for this collection. Carl Gafford colors both editions of the story.
