Volcanic activity sets off an earthquake causing a zwoot stampede. The WolfRiders decide they will not have their new home destroyed so ride out on their wolf-friends to turn the herd and hunt. Dewshine is injured, Leetah heals her and reconciliation is reached between Leetah & Cutter. Rayek watches all this, and lets Savah know that with is place as village protector usurped he will be leaving to search out his own destiny.
