Letters Column: Nova Newsline!

Nova finishes off the Firefly (whom he must have been fighting at the end of last issue), and returns home. Hes anxious about the two finals he has to take later in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, The Condor, Diamondhead and Powerhouse confront the Sphinx. Hes stronger than they anticipated and they cannot defeat him.
Rich Rider goes out for a quick spin as Nova and comes across the super-villains slugging it out. The Condor blasts him with a ray that traps him in a slowly shrinking energy field. He flies off again to find a way to remove it.
Meanwhile, the villains go back to fighting amongst themselves.
Nova is able to burn the energy off back at the Nuclear Power plant that he defeated Firefly at earlier in the day. The he goes back to take on all the bad guys. He slugs it out with Powerhouse while the Condor goes toe to toe with the Sphinx. One of the Sphinx henchmen shoots the Condor in the back with a mind wiping ray gun. Mindless, the Condor is useless to the Sphinx, so he turns him into a real Condor, and the bird flies away. Nova and Powerhouse lie unconscious at the Sphinx feet.
