Synopsis:
Batman and Robin begin to investigate the murder of Magpie when Batman is informed of the death of the KGBeast. Learning of startling similarities between the murders, Batman sets out only to find that his hunch was correct. Feeling he can have more accomplished with another agent, Batman decides that he needs an agent during the daytime. Meanwhile, another pair of Batmain villains are brutally murdered.

Synopsis:
Seeking out an agent to act for him during the day, Batman seeks out former third-rate detective Jason Bard and offers him the position. Prior to Batman's offer, Jason solves a mystery involving the murder of woman's husband. When Jason takes Batman's offer, he asks Batman to do a small favor for him.
