Synopsis:
David Clinton, an ex-con, becomes obsessed with time. He invents several gadgets using time as a theme, then he begins a series of robberies as Chronos, the time-thief. Clinton uses a clock shop in Ivy Town as a cover for his illegal activities. When Ray Palmer comes in and tells Clinton about an atomic clock at the university, the crook goes after it.

Chronos crosses paths with Palmer at the university, then the Atom shows up to fight. After escaping, Chronos sets a trap for the Atom whom he suspects is Ray Palmer. When Atom arrives at his shop, Chronos traps him, but the tiny titan escapes, defeats Chronos, and protects his dual identity.
