A large, stone-faced man, watching wrestling videos (preparing for a match, it seems) calls Strel, the manager of the Catshack, at home, but she hangs up on him before he can say anything. Strel tells her son, Benjamin, that he'll be staying at his Grandmother's house. Daisy storms in on John at work, demanding her diary back, but is surprised to find that he didn't read it. She goes to work for the first night at the club. Strel tells Kim that they found the person who had killed the other dancer, but Kim still seems a little freaked out. Strel takes Kim out after work, where they meet Strel's cousin, Eloy-an artist whose work involves a hundred teakettles that all whistle the same note. Strel continues to get phonecalls from the man, Haitious, that she refuses to answer. John and Daisy kiss.
