Synopsis:
Has Captain America really returned to active duty after all these years? Johnny Storm has his doubts . . .

Notes:
First appearance of Captain America at Marvel. In fairness, though, it's more the implication of Captain America than Steve Rogers himself. This story, along with "Captain America Joins the Avengers" in The Avengers #4, firmly establish that his adventures in Timely Comics were to be considered a real part of the character's past. In other words, this story served notice that, unlike what was going on with DC characters at the time, there was to be no difference between the Golden Age and Silver Age Captain Americas.

Reprinted in Marvel Tales #14 and Captain America (1966) #216.
