Set in the near(?) future,in New York City, we meet a few hip characters that work at club called the Catshack. The Catshack is a nightclub/stripclub which features "Gastro", where the audiences can see into the dancer's bodies, x-ray vision style. The issue starts off with Strel, the manager of the club telling Kim, one of the dancers, about how one of the other dancers was found dead outside the club recently. Kim decides that she is going to buy a gun and convinces Strel to come with her. We also meet John, a barback/dishwasher at the club who is sick of his job. He runs into-literally-Daisy, a new dancer. In the collision, he ends up with Daisy's diary-he runs after her, but she's gone. Later, at his apartment, he resists the urge to read the diary-for now.
