Strange things are happening at Ellen's mother's farm and it might have to do with Buddy losing control of his animal powers, though Maxine implies that it might actually be her. Buddy ends up following a bird to meet a man named "The Stone That Cracked Open the Earth Like an Egg," who claims his people, not aliens, gave him his powers. Meanwhile, Travis accepts an invitation to STAR Labs, only to stumble upon something he wasn't supposed to see.
