Letters Column: Global Response

A bomb has entirely vaporized a building, leaving a massive hole where it once was. An agent of Hark Enterprises investigates the incident, but is suddenly wrapped up in foiling a mugging which leads him into ground zero. While chasing him, the agent steps on Planetary's find at the site and is teleported into some kind of mystery dimension. While Jakita and Elijah argue, the man reappears with a zig-zagging scar down his chest.

Jim Wilder awakens in a Planetary hospital five days later and tells the field team what he saw. He describes the snowflake, the "bleed" and a bizarre spaceship which travels through universes that crashed. He explains that the ship was crewed by superhumans and that it's buried deep within the earth. He agreed to find it and help bring it home, the result of which gave him superpowers. He brings Jakita and Planetary to the ship after transforming. He propositions them to fund his attempt to find the spaceship and people to crew it and Elijah agrees, despite Jakita's protests.
