Five intertwined stories, told mostly in two large panels per page, primarily with captions (similar to "Elevation A" in issue #7):

Architectural student Paxton gets failed in front of the class for drawing Reichuss Mansion, and what he does as a result.

A psychiatrist attempts to evaluate Rain after her apparent attempted suicide.

Vernon Dalrymple purchases the Reichuss Mansion plans in 1964 and builds cheap duplicates all over the country, his own greed often leading to burials beneath the foundation.

Ben Volk tries to write a letter to Rain in the hospital detailing his love for her, his falling out with Claudette, and his awkwardness around Traci without Rain.

A demolition crew tears down the Reichuss Mansion where Rain and Traci lived.
