Synopsis:
After escaping from the police and their parents, the runaways travel through the sewers trying to figure out how to defeat their parents, ultimately coming up with taking it to the Rite of Thunder, where they'll be unarmed. They only have 4 hours to get there and the Pride already are journeying to the place inside an amphibeous transport named the Leapfrog.
The runaways journey downward to the bottom of the sea in a waterproof bubble created by Nico and wind up in the temple of the Gibborim. A sentry guard punches Nico and crushes Chase before Alex can say the secret word, shutting it off. As Alex explains what the word is, Gert interupts, dropping the bombshell that Chase is dead.
