Synopsis:
Kitty Pryde has returned to the Xavier Mansion in order to assist the X-Men in their attempts to train a new generation of mutants. Of course, being Kitty, she shows up late to the introduction, moderated by Emma Frost, who uses the opportunity to scare the pants off everyone with a sentinal hologram. Cyclops confronts her, but she brushes it off.
The next morning, Wolverine appears in Cyclops and Emma's bedroom to make snarky comments about him sleeping with Emma after Jean's death. He shoots him through a window. Beast breaks up the fight and takes them into the Danger Room to scold them. Scott takes this time to explain that he wants the X-Men to be a real superhero team again, costumes and all.
Meanwhile, a mysterious green man is holding a group of very rich looking people hostage and Dr. Kavita Rao has come up with a cure to the mutant gene.
