Synopsis:
Cloak convinces Dagger it is time to find Doctor Strange. The two take many small jaunts across the globe and find the Sorcerer Supreme, Rintrah and the Defenders at the Ancient One’s Lamasery. The teenagers explain that a captive inside the Cloak of Darkness needs Doctor Strange to free him from the “predator”. Stephen agrees to help and uses the Wings of Needless Sorrow to peer into the dark dimension. Ty reacts with intense pain as a large hand reaches out and grabs the master magician. It pulls him into the black with Dagger and the Defenders in tow. Doctor Strange manages to save Rintrah from also being sucked into the elaborate trap. Nightmare has caught his pray.

Defenders (Marvel)

Synopsis:
Nightmare revels in his victory. He captured Doctor Strange, and in the dark dimension, the demon wields ultimate power. The Defenders attempt to free their old comrade while Dagger tries to stop the growing evil from consuming her partner. Tandy realizes that she must join the fight against Nightmare, but her purifying shards are only strong enough to sting the villain. Doctor Strange attempts a desperate gambit from his enchanted prison. The Sorcerer Supreme kills Cloak forcing Valkyrie and the Defenders to guide the fallen hero into the light. Dagger refuses to let her friend go and reaches into the radiance to pull him back. The overwhelming light fills the teenager, and she turns that power against her foe. Doctor Strange’s dangerous strategy works as the Nightmare casts out the magician, Cloak and Dagger.
