Synopsis: Cloak and Dagger are guests of Tandy’s father, the Lord of Light. The religious leader explains that he left his family to escape his wife’s materialism and find inner light in India. He trained under different gurus, but a railroad accident revealed a power to accept the light of the dying. Though human again, Ty’s remains suspicious. He discovers that the meditating disciples create floating discs that hasten death to steal light. Ty tries to save an injured family, but the disc takes his light returning him to Cloak. The vigilante confronts the Lord of Light accusing him of using the worshipers to store excess light. The Lord of Light drains Dagger and attacks but realizes that he is a vampire. To save his soul, he jumps into Cloak’s dark dimension. Cloak and Dagger are human again.
Synopsis: Doctor Strange continues repair work on his Sanctum Sanctorum while a storm worsens outside. Inside, Clea chooses to return home after Topaz fails to convince Stephen to accept his feelings for the ruler of the Dark Dimension. The storm worsens unnaturally, and Doctor Strange senses evil approaching. He rushes to the streets confronting an ancient water element possessing an innocent body. The two battle, but the Sorcerer Supreme must destroy the host to stop the demon. Rintrah aids his master, but it is not enough. Doctor Strange kills his first human.
