Moore's credit as colorist of the issue derives from his work as "color reconstructionist" to get the older issues up to a more modern standard for this volume.Editors at the issue level are those listed for the volume as a whole. Cover claims to be "from the pages of JSA and Infinite Crisis", but this is somewhat misleading. There's only about 6 pages from JSA proper, and nothing from the Infinite Crisis. Yes, as one of the most direct preludes to the miniseries, the JSA Classified story, "Power Play", is a part of the Infinite Crisis arc. But it's not quite Infinite Crisis proper. This is a shame, as the Power Girl sections from IC would have made things a little clearer. Readers should be aware that, despite appearances, this volume doesn't offer an absolutely definitive picture of the 21st century Power Girl. It does, however, come closer than any other single volume yet published by DC. When combined with the explanatory text, the selected issues and fragments give the reader a fairly comprehensive look at Power Girl right up to, but not including, the events of Infinite Crisis (2005) #1. It also fails to reprint—but does touch on—important developments for the character in the pages of Supergirl (2005).
This volume collects only the 1st story from Secret Origins (1986) #11, 3 pages from JSA (1999) #32, 2 pages from JSA (1999) #39 and 20 pages from JSA: Classified (2005) #4. As such, Black Adam, Clayface, D-Bomb, Dr. Fate (07), Force, Hawkman of New Earth, Jakeem Thunder, Alex Montez, Nabu, Sentinel and the Ultra-Humanite do NOT appear in this volume.
