Aric has departed for home, leaving Jack alone to deal with Blister. Fortunately for Jack, Blister holds him with high regard and emulates him, not bringing himself to be able to finish him off. Meanwhile, Ishmael makes a deal with Nettie, she restores his appearance, and he promises her a life (leaving Jack alone) and a death at a point in the future.
