Synopsis:
The tale of Times Past gives insight into the life of Will Payton, the fifth Starman. Shade particularly recounts Will Payton's stand against the Bodines, two regular murderous people. He chases them down, despite being dejected by the people he intends on saving who claim that they would rather be saved by Batman when the question was posed. Although he winds up saving their hostage, they disappear and he vows to find them. Unfortunately for him, he never found them and was killed by a supervillain before he could.
