Death is an actual being that rides around in the Old West, and when he comes to town, you know someone's about to bite it. Paxton, an accountant from Virginia with a sick child, goes to confront death and attempt to reason with him for the life of his dying child. When a bribe does not work, he draws down on death and challenges him to a duel. Death accepts.
