Synopsis:
A group of criminal leaders gather together to brainstorm an idea on how to get rid of Ant Man. They decide to hire a brilliant scientific genius - Egghead (who had recently been fired from the government under suspicion of selling secrets to foreign governments).

Egghead deduces that Ant Man communicates with the ants and devises a tool that does the same thing. He tells some ants to lie to Ant Man in order to set a trap. Egghead promises the ants that they will earn power over Ant Man for doing this. These ants spread the news to other ants.

Ant Man gets the message and falls into the trap. However, he makes a quick escape to Egghead's surprise. The criminal leaders rush Ant Man but are fought off by various means. In the middle of this battle it becomes clear that the ants have not betrayed him as they help in capturing the gangsters. Police arrive to put everyone in custody. Ant Man explains to the police captain that Egghead misunderstood ant psychology and misjudged their desire for selfish interests.

Egghead overhears this before making his escape. He is last seen hiding out from the police and the mob in a dingy old halfway house mumbling to himself about ants. His intellectual spirit had been broken.
