Synopsis: In the middle of a barren wasteland, a monstrous egg. It breaks open to hatch... Monsteroso! A creature that grows and grows, all-powerful, all-devouring... the unstoppable conqueror of all it surveys... Until the rain comes - a torrential deluge that doesn't stop until Monsteroso is destroyed. Progressively the panels pull back on the scene: the deluge becomes water from a tap, washing out a petrie dish. Another scientist regrets the assistant's haste, as he thought he'd seen something growing in it - but adds that it probably wasn't of any significance!
Notes: Another good Lee/Ditko short shocker. There is hardly any action. The monster just grows, and grows - rejoicing in its omnipotence until its incomprehensible defeat, but Ditko's drawings are so powerful.
