Splash page reads: "The Pegasus Project Part Six, Starring: The Thing, Quasar, Giant-Man, Thundra and introducing The Aquarian." Human Torch & Captain America appear in flashback.
Three full-page ads are dedicated to the Fall 1979 Saturday morning cartoon line-ups. ABC's ad boasts"the World's Greatest Super Friends" followed by the all-new "Plastic Man Comedy/Adventure Show" (which show also included Mightyman and Yukk, Rickety Rocket, and Fangface). Rounding out the morning were "Spider-Woman" and "Scooby and Scrappy Doo." The comic's centerspread is a two-page ad for CBS' Saturday morning schedule, highlighted by "Mighty Mouse," "The All-New Popeye Hour," "Fat Albert," Filmation's live-action "Jason of Star Command" and "Tarzan and the Super Seven" (which featured Tarzan, Batman, and The Freedom Force).
Setting this comic firmly in its 1979 context are ads for t-shirts emblazoned with Cheryl Ladd, Suzanne Somers, KISS and the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. A Heroes World ad also offers a KISS Make-Up Kit for $12.99.
Opposite the Bullpen Bulletins is a Hostess Twinkies ad titled "Spider-Man Meets June Jitsui!"
