Dorothy Walker dies and leaves her house in Montclair, New Jersey to Patsy. Kyle Richmond's apartment is confiscated by the government during the investigation of his alleged white collar crimes, so he and the Defenders set up shop there with Dorothy's old housekeeper and friend, Dolly Donahue.

Patsy confides in Kyle that her real life wasn't much like the Patsy Walker comics her mother wrote, while the other Defenders adjust to life in the suburbs.

Matt Murdock comes to Kyle's apartment on legal business and is attacked, as Daredevil, by Mandrill's Fem-Force, and captured.
