Synopsis:
In the time vortex, the Doctor crashed the TARDIS into Death's Hand, a gigantic, mechanical bounty hunter. He uses the Master's Tissue Compression Eliminator to reduce Death Hand's size into something that will easily fit into the TARDIS. He rigs the console to find the nearest mechanical organism and ends up delivering Death's Hand to 82d-century Earth.

Notes:
This conception of the time vortex seems quite at odds with the 2005 series' interpretation of the phenomenon. In the televised Ninth Doctor's run, the vortex is housed within--and is the heart of--the TARDIS. Here, it is a place to which the Doctor can travel.
