Synopsis: Robbie Baldwin continues to lead the life of Speedball and is still learning to control his powers. His father the D.A. Justin Baldwin, continues his investigation into the susicious death of an old friend. Justin enjoys a dinner date with his wife Madelyn Naylor, two old friends Sheila and Herb. Sheila and Herb just returned to the city. He leaves early after a phone call from an informant about the killer of his friend. Upon entering the building for the meeting he is struck over the head with a gun by the Harlequin HitMan. Who is seen prior to this in several panels murdering other persons involved in the murder and is here to do the same to this informant. Enter Speedball to save the day and TKO HH. However a 2nd HH appears only to be quickly TKO'd as well. Justin unmasks the Harlequin HitMan's to discover it his old friends Shiela and Herb.
Synopsis: Robbie Baldwin finds himself conflicted with him being unable join his former high school track team. Of course the slightest bump can activate his powers. Robbie discovers that the star athlete on the team is using performance enhancing drugs. He is brushed away by the coach when he attempts to inform him. At the big track event agaist high school rival Springdale the authorities show up to confront the team. The star athlete confesses to the substance abuse and points out the pushor. Speedball steps in to capture him.
